When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and optionally your profile picture and social media links. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your full credit card number.

We also collect usage data including pages visited, features used, and trend searches to improve our service.

• To provide and maintain our trend tracking service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send notifications about trends (if enabled)
• To facilitate brand-creator sponsorships
• To calculate and distribute referral commissions
• To improve our algorithms and user experience

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Brands/Sponsors — only your public profile information (name, bio, niche) when you opt into the sponsorship marketplace
• Law enforcement — only when required by law

4. Data Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions use encrypted JWT tokens. All connections use HTTPS in production. We never store raw credentials.

5. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@trendradar.com. You can update your profile information from your dashboard settings.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
